Completed in 2007, the Tidewater building is a beautiful beige and cream colored 30 story condominium located on the west side of Panama City Beach, Florida, along the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a porte-cochere for quick and easy in/out, as well as an external multi-story parking garage with enclosed crossover. Each of 7 high-speed elevators can usher you to any floor of the building.

The Tidewater Beach Resort amenities are by far the best in the area including two outdoor resort pools, an indoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, sauna, steam room, movie theater, on-site restaurant, snack bar, ground floor grilling area, free movie rentals for guests, reading library, arcade, seasonal beach service (free pair of beach chairs), free gated covered parking garage, 24/7 security, on-site property management, and a location near Pier Park that can’t be beat.

Waves, the on-site restaurant, is under new management and the food is delicious.   If you are a fan of hash browns with all the fixin’s, try Heavenly Hash for breakfast.   You can even be bold and ask for two fried eggs over the top. They run specials daily for breakfast and lunch – just ask. You can also order food from Waves at the Tiki Bar located at the east pool.

The pools and hot tubs are open from 8am-10pm daily.   Personal coolers are allowed at the pools provided they are small enough to fit under a chair.   Animals, music players, glass containers, bicycles, skate boards, and roller blades are not allowed at the pools. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, per Florida law.

Fitness Center hours are 6am-10pm daily.   The common door code provided at check-in will give you access to both the Fitness Center and the indoor pool. No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the Fitness Center.   Closed toe shoes and shirts are required. Use of the equipment is at your own risk and no food is allowed.

The theater shows movies seasonally two days per week.   Feature movies and show times are posted outside the doors and sometimes in the elevators. No food or beverage is allowed in the movie theater. Swim wear is not permitted. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
